What to submit?

Any art will do. Looking for local artists film/video, visual arts, stand-up, sketch, musical acts (plug and play originals only please), fine art, short plays and anything else that you feel would fit into a public presentation. If you feel you have a piece that you would like to present that is unfinished, send us the sketches, the cocktail napkins, the outlines, the crappy recordings and we will be back in touch with you. Our ears, eyes and minds are open. We will not just send out flat acceptance or rejection letters, we will write or call to discuss your piece with you. Promise.

Who should submit?

Anyone. First timers are encouraged. Submissions are all ages, although our unwillingness to censor along with the rules at some of the venues may dictate that the actual presentations are 18 or 21 and older. When we have enough submissions to do so, we will do an all ages show. Where will your piece be shown? All accepted pieces will be presented at a local venue with up to 20 other artists and an emcee. The type of venue will vary depending on what submissions we receive, although based on early feedback and spaces available its looking like the first couple of shows will be in a bar/club type of atmosphere, with a move to a theatre space when warranted.

Why submit?

Your art deserves a community, and an audience. We want to help. We are firm believers that, throughout history, tremendous amounts of great art have died with their creators, never to see the light of day. Help us stop this. We want to establish something new. Something special. Something for and by the artist, where your work will always remain your own.
