After having worked in digital animation production for more than 25 years, I made a change in my career and moved to Singapore in 2005 to help set up the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University, a leading research university in Singapore. I've taught numerous students various facets of animation over the past 10 years. Many go on and win accolades for their work, set up their own companies and establish themselves as leaders in the visual effects and animation industry in Singapore.

When in industry I worked on numerous projects at major award winning studios in interactive media and games, television and live action visual effects and fully animated feature films. Early in my career I directed animated shorts that were projected in laser light. Recently, I directed an award winning animated short titled [Vengeance+Vengeance] (2012).

My current work explores entertainment development for animated content on mobile game platforms (e.g. smart phones and tablets). I have a small think tank in a university based research center. We're designing comical character scenarios for short movies and games. The work, a mobile game titled "Barty Run" and a movie called "The Adventures of Barty and the Pirate" is hosted at http://www.giantmonster.co/br/index.html
