VEGAS INDIE FILM FEST. VIFF.
Known as VIFF! ™, the VEGAS INDIE FILM FEST! is dedicated to true independent film and filmmakers. VIFF! furthers the art, craft and business of storytelling by inspiring and championing the work of artists who use the language of film to share their visions - while offering a unique outlet to showcase noteworthy and winning films through our network of partners and indie movie theaters. Besides a theatrical distribution run, many category winning filmmakers also receive the coveted "Golden Bulb Award" which is certified to have lit the world famous 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign!
VIFF! is now offering PROFESSIONAL FEEDBACK & EARLY NOTIFICATION for completed films by a talented, and very experienced panel of judges including producing legends Christopher Webster (Heathers, Hellraiser etc.) or Ted V. Mikels (Corpse Grinders, Astro Zombies etc.) and others for an additional fee. That means your film will be watched and critiqued by the legends with hand written notes, and you will be notified early of your film selection status.
GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE & RAINBOW BULBS will be awarded in Jury Awards and Best Of Awards in several categories, including Narrative No-Budget Feature, Narrative Micro-Budget Feature, Narrative Full-Budget Feature, Feature Documentary, LGBT Feature and Short Film, Narrative Short Film, Documentary Short Film, Experimental Short Film, Student Film, Music Video, Webisode and many more. We also have special awards such as Best Debut Director, as well as Honorable Mention for various standout films or performances.
