Following in the footsteps of the Australian version of the Sexy International Film Festival (SIFF) Melbourne , The Sexy International Paris Film Festival (SIPFF)(Association Loi 1901)
has been created as a uniquely francophone version of the festival, focusing on strong Francophone content as part of its international program.
Already in its second year in Australia the festival has already doubled in size and popularity due to its
themes which resonate with audiences.
The Sexy International Paris Film Festival's (SIPFF) goals are to discover, promote and screen the best independent films from around the world that explore the themes of "Sexy" -sexuality, love, marriage, divorce, lust, romance, seduction, relationships and the erotic.
The festival aims to enlighten, educate, create discussion and debate, as well as allow audience interaction in relation to various projects within SIPFF.
The festival follows a code of ethic, with the festival being porn-free and smut-free. Films considered to be pornographic in nature will not be screened at the festival.
There will be an audience vote to determine the Sexiest Short and Sexiest feature of the festival as well as a jury to determine the best short and best feature of the festival.
As well as the main festival in June 2010, SIPFF will be presenting MiNi SiPFF, as part of the Zonerotikon Festival ("Zonerotikon rien à voir avec le X / Cabarets de Cirqu'Conférences
