Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake of Ron de Cana Prods, Inc., the film was danced/choreographed by Marc Carrizo Vilarroig of Brodas Bros. Cucalorus Film Festival

The 20th annual Cucalorus Film Festival takes place November 12-16, 2014 in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. The non-competitive festival showcases more than 200 films from all over the world and attracts an accumulated audience of 14,800 cultural travelers who come to celebrate the art-form and connect with peers. Real to Reel International Film Festival

The Real to Reel Film Festival 2013 Call for Entries is open. Filmmakers are invited to submit their new works to the 14th annual festival, which is nestled between Charlotte and Asheville, NC. Submissions can be entered directly to us or via the Withoutabox.com Web site: https://www.withoutabox.com/login/4767. Complete submission rules and regulations are available there. The next deadline is March 8, 2013, the Withoutabox extended deadline is May 24th, 2013. Real to Reel considers these categories of filmmaking, Narrative, Documentary, Short and Feature. The festival will announce its complete film lineup in June 2013.

MISSION AND OBJECTIVE: The mission of the Real to Reel International Film Festival is to offer a forum for independent - film, video and multimedia artists to showcase their talents and expose the works of these artists to our region.

Cape Fear Independent Film Festival

The 9th annual festival will be held from May 1-3 for three days of short films, socializing and great prizes. There will be a $1000 grand prize for best short, as well as individual category prizes.

Short films of any genre are accepted and must be 41 minutes in length or less. Submissions must be made on NTSC DVD or VHS. Submission deadlines are as follows:

Accommodations will be provided to screening filmmakers on a first-come-first-served basis!
