Short film funding is hard to find. Why would you fund a short? Well for a very small entry fee a filmmaker can receive $ 25,000 (US) to shoot a short. The winning script will receive $10,000 and get their film made by the winning filmmaker. Its like a dating website for writers and filmmakers. You receive lots of coverage (feedback) on your work and entries are limited! We have been recognized by the Irish film board! And will be airing on fox tv soon! We launch in January! Check us out! The dark arts of feature film funding have always been a complete mystery to me and I don’t think I am alone in that regard. It may possibly be down to a peculiarly British sensibility of rank embarrassment at ‘selling yourself.’ Or it might be down to the C Grade I had in my Maths GCSE.Unless your as hideously talented as Nick Cave, who wrote The Proposition in 4 weeks, your script will be the result of months of painstaking, finger bleeding, relationship ending, sanity stretching re-writ...
