Making films is a great way to express yourself creatively, work within a fun industry and also make a living while you’re at it. So how do you get into this industry? The answer is often much easier than people think. At a Spike Less conference in Toronto conference a couple of years ago, Mr. Lee addressed this very question from an ambitious film student. This film student stood up and asked her question about breaking into the film industry. It seemed that no matter how hard she searched ...

I must say this was the most exhFinally finished production on the sequel to our short film Splitting Hairs titled, Splitting Hairs 2.0: Case Cold last week. I must say this was the most exhausted project I`ve ever done so far. Currently pre-edited at 82 minutes, i must say that there are quite a few good performances that were captured of this film. We worked with about ...
Malcolm EntertainmentBiographyOscar Sanders from an early age developed an interest in filmmaking. From 1977 to 1980, Oscar made five films with a Super 8 camera. These films starred his friends closest friends and were often enjoyed by family and friends. Mr. Sanders moved on to become a guitarist for fifteen years for several bands, which toured the United States and Europe. He recorded three albums with the Billy Bang Sextet for Polygram Records in Milan, Italy and ITC Records in West Germany...
Bob and I headed out to La Guardia Airport 2/15 for a 11am flight to attend a screening of our film KNOW WHO YOUR TALKING TO at the Magnolia Independent Film Festival in Starkville, Mississippi but we never got there. The earlier snowstorm got us bumped and placed on standby for two days(Thurs and Fri). Our festival contacts were going back and forth to the airport to pick us up and were worried. It was totally draining and disappointing. We really wanted to be at the festival. After two days of...
Splitting Hairs (2005)"They put some comedy into this one that I liked . . .the guys playing detectives delivered good performances . . .they had fun making this film and that's what it's all about." -Tim, Matchflick.com 1/30/07Know Who You're Talking To (2006)"The director did a fine job making a six minute film entertaining ...
The unique power of film is being recognized beyond the USA with the acceptance of Malcolm Entertainment's, "KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO" as an official selection of the Pumelo International Film Festival in Mumbai, India 3/5-3/8/07. Sometimes just a whiff of a good story can lead to a buzz and then growing interest in a movie that we're very, very proud of and firmly entrenched in reality from a story standpoint. Reviews have been good and encourage us that we have somet...
We were just informed that our short film KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO has become an official selection at the Magnolia Independent Film Festival 2007. Come on out and hang out in Starkville, Mississippi 2/15-2/17/07 with Malcolm Entertainment and all the other filmmakers and watch movies and have a ball. Why Not?...
We, at Malcolm Entertainment lost one of actors and close friends recently. James Hill, Jr. passed on 12/1/06. He continues to be missed by all. He's making movies at another studio in the sky. But the great thing about movies is that he can be seen starring in our feature film, SPLITTING HAIRS 2.0: Case Cold that's still in production. Completion will be announced soon....
Just wanted to let our friends know how the Splitting Hairs 2.0: Case Cold production is coming along. Up to this point we have 40 minutes of the film completed and about another 20 minutes to go. We're acutally creating the ending of the movie as we go, which is quite intersting and somewhat difficult. SP 2.0 is Malcolm Entertainment's first feature film and it is being made at a price to Bob and myself. Not in terms of money but stress. Scheduling a shooting schedule that brings the...
