The West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival

The West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival; celebrating artistry, imagination, and independent thought in video and multimedia. Screening works under 20 minutes, programming categories include: documentary, narrative, animation/experimental, student films, and works that focus on Appalachian culture and themes. This year, in addition to screening narrative, documentary, animation and experimental works, we have established a thematic category for works that explore issues relating to energy.

The International Streaming Festival {The Hague}

The Streaming Festival is an art event for independent artists exhibiting unconventional audiovisual art from all over the world.

This event takes place once a year. Anyone with an internet connection can plug into a festival stream from any location, at any given time and start watching contemporary art and films.

GlobalFest FilmFest: Exposed

GlobalFest is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based, community and cultural organization committed to producing inclusive, world-class, multi-faceted arts and cultural events that celebrate and showcase cultural diversity and artistic excellence in communities locally and across the globe.

GlobalFest FilmFest: Exposed will feature revealing domestic and international independent documentary films from unique perspectives at the Plaza Theatre January 29th- 31st, 2010. The films programmed are intended to hopefully educate and inspire all of our audiences and provide insight into the best in art, culture and adventure.

Now in its 9th year, the Southeast New England Film, Music & Arts Festival has established itself as one of the premier festivals in New England dedicated to giving life to independent cinema, music and art.

Join us for 5 days of independent films from across the country and around the world, live music, art exhibits, panels and parties. Meet filmmakers from all over the world, local artists and musicians all in one dynamic festival.

Held in Providence, RI, just an hour from Boston and three hours from New York City, the Festival attracts young and enthusiastic audiences from the prestigious places of learning that are all in close proximity, including Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design and Johnson & Wales University.

The Festival welcomes submissions from the United States and around the world, of varied forms and genres, including narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, music videos, drama, comedy, thrillers, film noir, sci-fi, horror and LGBT films.

SENE organizers are dedicated to providing a filmmaker-friendly fest experience with participating filmmakers receiving a VIP pass to all screenings, parties and events. Filmmakers are always introduced at their screenings and have plenty of Q&A time following.
