Organisers of the Showcomotion Young People’s Film Festival are reporting record numbers for their tenth anniversary festival. 7728 people came to the festival in 2008, an increase of 36% from 2007. Once again the Sheffield International Documentary Festival has enjoyed a resounding success. Between the 10th and 16th October 2005, an international crowd descended on the Showroom Cinema to be involved in the UK’s premiere event for documentary film.
