When interviewed on the red carpet about hosting the Golden Aruba Award
minister of Aruba culture Otmar Oduber pointed out that Aruba depends on
tourism for 70% of its economy and that these kinds of events (the
international film festival) and Aruba's first ever upcoming fashion
week..."we are going just stepping up two steps ahead and its
fabulous."
