The VOICES Festival is proud to announce the composition of its Jury for this first edition.
A master of Russian and international cinema, Sergei Bodrov, will honor us with his presence as the Jury president.
Russian screenwriter, director and producer Serguei Bodrov is famous for his award-winning films ‘The Prisoner of the Caucasus’ (nominated for the Oscars and the Golden Globes in 1996) and ‘Mongol’ (nominated for the Oscars in 2007).
The festival is glad to welcome him in its team and is positive he will pass on his enthusiasm and passion to the Jury.
Krzysztof Zanussi, a polyvalent Polish artist, has successfully worked in the different fields of the film industry: as a director, an actor, an art director, a producer and a screenwriter. He is also a well-known theatre director. Son of French comedians, Claude Brasseur has become, with more than 90 films, a French cinema reference and an extremely popular actor. His rich career was awarded by two Cesars (French equivalent of Oscars) for Best supporting actor in 1977 in the comedy 'Un éléphant, ça trompe énormément' and for Best leading role in 1980 in 'La guerre des polices'. Andreï Khalpakhchi is the director of Kyiv International Film Festival Molodist, known as Molodist. His insight of young European cinema will be very helpful for the jury.
