Dynamic independent film distribution company, ITN Distribution Inc., today announced their lineup of films for the 2008 NATPE conference and exhibition staged annually in Las Vegas. This year's films are a diverse mix of high-concept features, shorts and high-quality documentaries in a wide variety of genres such as arthouse, action, war, horror, thriller, comedy and martial arts. Many titles have worldwide rights available and have won awards at film festivals around the globe. ITN's office will be located at #976 in the Mandalay Bay Resort from January 29 - 31.
Since its inception in 2002, ITN has shaped a realistic approach to film distribution and has aggressively expanded its library to over 550 impressive titles. The company acquires and sells a diverse range of quality independent films and attends all major markets including Cannes, AFM, MIFED and NATPE.
According to ITN's President and CEO Stuart Alson, "I am excited about NAPTE 2008. Many of our titles richly deserve a television audience and we expect business to be very brisk at our booth during NAPTE," said Alson. "ITN has really grown over the past few years and we have developed solid contacts with all the key domestic and international buyers. The film distribution process can be thorny and vague and very often filmmakers do not make their money back as a result of the complicated hidden clauses in contracts. Our highly trained acquisitions team are deeply committed to negotiating the best deal possible for filmmakers struggling to find an audience for their films, " added Alson.
Noteworthy films and talent being represented at NATPE 2008, include: Lime Salted Love starring Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, The L Word, Sci-Fi Channel's Painkiller Jane) and Kate Del Castillo (TRADE, Bordertown, Ariel award nominee); Johnny 316 starring controversial actor Vincent Gallo (The Brown Bunny); Valley of Angels starring Danny Trejo (From Dusk Til Dawn, SherryBaby, Grindhouse); Fighting with Anger starring Academy Award Nominee and music legend Willie Nelson; Agenda starring award-wining actor Robert Rusler (Weird Science) and John Bennett Perry (Independence Day); Ghosts of Goldfield, a horror feature starring Marnett Paterson (Charmed) and The Last Gateway, a horror directed by Demian Rugna and co-starring Rodrigo Aragon and Salome Boustani.
High quality documentaries include Acquiring a Connection with the American Homeless, directed by award-winning humanitarian Louell Crowley; A Call for Valor, visceral docu-drama directed by retired police Captain turned award-winning filmmaker, D.R. Hernandez and Anna's Trip, an emotive documentary about a woman's quest to find surviving relatives of the Holocaust.
