The Third Annual New York Television Festival (NYTVF) 2007, was held at New World Stages theater, September 5-9, 2007. NYTVF annually presents independent television pilot competition, television network (ABC, FOX, NBC) premieres, panel discussions, seminars, special events, parties, and awards ceremony. Artists, industry executives, producers, actors, and musicians attend the festival.
2007 NYTVF ABC Television Network premiere screening PUSHING DAISIES, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld was held at New World Stages Theater, Saturday, September 8, 8:00pm. PUSHING DAISIES is a magical comedy drama about a man named Ned (Lee Pace) who was born with a very special gift. Ned, pie maker owner of "The Pie Hole" has the ability to make the dead return to life and vice versa by just a touch. The show is scheduled to air Wednesday, October 3, 8:00pm.

2007 NYTVF pilot competition DEAR HARVARD, directed by Trac Minh Vu, premiered Saturday, September 8, 6:45pm and Sunday, September 9, 3:15pm. DEAR HARVARD is a captivating teen drama depicting Honor's (Ella Rae Peck) life challenges during a sudden change in family social class status while attending a New York City all girls Ivy League high school.

2007 NYTVF pilot competition THE BAND, directed by James Gardner, premiered Saturday, September 8, 6:45pm and Sunday, September 9, 3:15pm. THE BAND is a compelling teen drama about a New York City college rock band "Leviticus Rocks" and their passion to demonstrate God's love through music.

2007 NYTVF pilot competition STROKES, directed by Larry Strong and Kevin Aroubet premiered, Thursday, September 6, 3:15pm and Saturday, September 8, 2:00pm. STROKES is a superb sports comedy drama, buddy sitcom depicting the life of four Floridian devout golf players.
