Better World Forum hosted a series of powerful sustainability focused events in Cannes

Global Speakers and Filmmakers Joined Forces to Raise Awareness about Food, Health and Sustainability at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 during a special event organized by The president and founder of Better World Fund, Mr. Manuel Collas de la Roche’s. After a magnificent Cannes sunset, stars appear above the famed Croisette illuminating the Better World Fund’s illustrious Black-Tie Gala dinner that took place at the JW Marriott, with the humbling presence of Her Excellency the First Lady of Cote d’Ivoire, Madame Dominique Ouattara, the Princess Ghida Talal, and world famous actress Sharon Stone as well as Amruta Fadnavis, Kiera Chaplin and actress Rossy De Palma.

The event continued with a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, all praise goes to our artists: Daniel ALHAIBY, an outstanding flutist and composer with unique skills, breathtaking style and the ability of awakening people’s emotions, taking the world of love and passion through his music, has performed the ‘Ave Maria - Caccini’ launching our gala dinner with a moment of love, peace and prayer on behalf of all the Ukrainian kids and families suffering from the war. Patrycja PIEKUTOWSKA, the talented violinist-soloist, CEO of the Virtuosa Foundation which is renovating and turning into magic children hospitals in Poland. NAIAN and his singularly special voice connected with the emotions and souls of the audience. He is a true artist whose musical universe is full of sensations and deep passion.

Arnault FRACHET who made us feel alive with his music from classical to contemporary, and modern jazz. Franck GRANDPRÉ a renowned pianist who played a fusion between explosive creativity and the excellence of classical tradition. The event featured an exciting Live Auction, chaired by Sharon Stone to benefit the Virtuosa Foundation for a current project to expand and improve the Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw, Poland. The renovated hospital will accommodate the enormous increase in patients, many of whom are refugee children from Ukraine. An Awards ceremony also had place during the Gala Dinner, a total of five awards were presented to honor individuals who are making meaningful changes and positively impacting the world and transforming our agriculture and food systems

Des conférenciers et des cinéastes du monde entier ont uni leurs forces pour sensibiliser à l'alimentation, à la santé et à la durabilité au Festival de Cannes 2022 lors d'un événement spécial organisé par le président et fondateur de Better World Fund, M. Manuel Collas de la Roche. Après un magnifique coucher de soleil à cannes, des étoiles apparaissent au-dessus de la célèbre Croisette illuminant l'illustre dîner de gala Black-Tie du Better World Fund qui s'est déroulé au JW Marriott Hotel, avec la présence de Son Excellence la Première Dame de Côte d'Ivoire, Madame Dominique Ouattara, la princesse Ghida Talal et l'actrice de renommée mondiale Sharon Stone ainsi qu'Amruta Fadnavis, Kiera Chaplin et l’actrice Rossy De Palma.

L'événement s'est poursuivi dans une ambiance et une atmosphère merveilleuse. Au début du diner de gala. Daniel ALHAIBY, flûtiste et compositeur exceptionnel, un style à couper le souffle a eu la capacité d'éveiller les émotions des gens, en réunissant le monde de l'amour et de la passion à travers sa musique, il a interprété l'Ave Maria - Caccini en lançant le dîner de gala avec un moment d'amour, de paix et de prière au nom de tous les enfants et familles ukrainiennes qui souffrent de la guerre. Suivit de Patrycja PIEKUTOWSKA, la talentueuse violoniste-soliste, PDG de la Fondation Virtuosa qui rénove et transforme en hôpitaux magiques pour enfants en Pologne. Ainsi que NAIAN et sa voix singulièrement spéciale liée aux émotions et à l'âme du public. C'est un véritable artiste dont l'univers musical est plein de sensations et de profonde passion. Et Arnault FRACHET qui nous a fait vivre sa musique Du classique au contemporain, en passant par le jazz moderne. Et Franck GRANDPRÉ un pianiste de renom qui a joué une fusion entre la créativité explosive et l'excellence de la tradition classique.

Durant le diner de gala la formidable Sharon Stone a animé la vente aux enchères au profit de la Fondation Virtuosa pour un projet en cours visant à agrandir et à améliorer le Children's Memorial Health Institute à Varsovie, en Pologne. L'hôpital rénové pourra accueillir l'énorme augmentation du nombre de patients, dont beaucoup sont des enfants réfugiés d'Ukraine.

Suivit d’une cérémonie de remise des prix, un total de cinq prix a été décerné pour honorer les personnes qui apportent des changements significatifs et ont un impact positif sur le monde et transforment nos systèmes agricoles et alimentaires.
