Next week TV Beats and the Black Nights Film Festival have an excellent chance to host the world premiere a Russian TV drama CALL CENTER by PREMIER Studios. Come and join the event on Tuesday, 26 November at 18:30 at Coca-Cola Plaza. Just a few hours before, TV Beats offers a chance to have an exclusive speak peak at the series as the creators, Natalya Merkulova and Alexey Chupov talk about creating content specifically for the Russian VOD market.

The Embassy of Sweden in Tallinn is hosting WIFTI Talks on Sunday, 24 November, where three European researchers - Valeria Villegas Lindvall (University of Gothenburg), Elen Lotman (Tallinn University) and Dr. Lina Kaminskaitė-Jančoreinė (Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) - will share their perspectives. After the three 10-minute talks a panel discussion with filmmakers will follow.

FEELING ARTsY? AHEAD TO KAI CENTRE

As a prologue to Industry @ Tallinn & Baltic Event Kai Art Center host Artists’ Film International in collaboration with Whitechapel Gallery.
The program will kick off on Friday, 22 November and showcase different approaches to working with moving image, featuring artists’ films by Patrick Hough, Mari-Leen Kiipli and Kristina Norman, followed by a roundtable discussion moderated by Emily Butler (Whitechapel Gallery). The launch event will continue with some cinematic cocktails and afterparty by KaiF.
