Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), owner and operator of the largest portfolio of pan-Asian networks dedicated to Asian entertainment, today announced the promotion of Ofanny Choi to President.
Choi will run CTE, oversee all aspects of the Company’s operations and brings nearly three decades of media experience to her new role. As Executive Vice President, TV Networks at CTE, she oversaw the Company’s networks business, including programming, acquisitions, marketing, operations and distribution. She joined Celestial Pictures in 2002 and served as Senior Vice President, TV Channels. Previously, Choi spent 10 years at Star TV, where she last served as Programming Manager at Star Chinese Movies.
Choi succeeds Todd Miller, Chief Executive Officer, who has led the Company since its inception in 2012. Miller will re-locate from Hong Kong to dual residences in Thailand and the United States to focus on investing, board advisory, and writing.
