Cannes Film Festival director, Therry Frémaux gave some remarks yesterday during press conference. He expressed how special it was that Quentin Tarantino will be returning with his new film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, a whole 25 years after the release of Pulp Fiction. He also expressed his reasons for choosing Alejandro Inaritu as the Judge for the festival's jury, stating that "there were a lot of reasons to choose him as he comes from a land that is less represented in cinema" and "Alejandro has been here twice in competition. Putting together a jury is like putting together a legitimacy. And these filmmakers need to know they're being judged by someone legitimate."
