About Juan Rosado:
Juan Rosado is a Puerto Rican best-selling author, entrepreneur and life coach. Rosado is known for his international seminars and self-help books including El Guardia Que Compró Su Sueño, (From Rags To Riches), Entre el Azadón y la Espada, (Between The Plough and The Sword) Activando el Cambio (Activating Change) and Éxito Para Las Naciones (Success for The Nations.)
Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, the son of a janitor and a homemaker, Juan Rosado’s awe-inspiring story has touched and continues to move millions of people around the world. An international phenomenon, Juan Rosado is constantly in front of hundreds of thousands of people in sold-out venues in countries including Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Santo Domingo, Honduras, El Salvador, Panamá, Mexico, Spain, Germany and London. He also tours extensively in the United States.
Flying kites as an imaginative child trained his eyes to look up to the sky as if searching for a better life. An eager student at first, Juan left school in the 9th grade to go after his dreams. His journey continued in Miami with the idea to make money and start a business in Puerto Rico. He went back to the island where he attempted three different companies, a video club, a carpentry workshop and even a butcher shop, all of them ended up failing.
Then, just when everything seemed doomed, a friend referred him for a job at Mendez Vigo & Sons as a security guard. It was from his small caseta (guard stand) that he had his greatest life-changing breakthroughs. Long, uneventful work hours afforded him the time to read more than 300 hundred books on personal betterment. Growing up with no mentors, Juan found in Dale Carnegie, David J. Schwartz, Napoleon Hill, Pablo Coelho, Robert Kiyosaki, and Sharon Lechter the mentors he never had. Their respective books, How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Magic of Thinking Big, My First Million, The Alchemist, Rich Dad Poor Dad and many others gave Juan the tools to train his mind to think a different way. It was during that time that a phone call from his friend Dr. Herminio Nevárez about a new business opportunity would change his life forever.
In 2002 during a business trip in Venezuela, Juan met his future wife Damaris Rosado. Standing by him, she was to become a central figure and an inspiration for his success. Their charitable works include The Foundation 4Life and helping people in need wherever they may be.
Based on his book, Juan Rosado’s heart-warming story became the motion picture El Guardia starring salsa super star Michael Stuart. The film was produced by Kee Films and Peanut Gallery Group and will be released in 2019.
Juan lives in Miami with his wife Damaris and their three beautiful daughters. He spends his free time fishing, playing basketball and reading… still.
