WORLD PEACE & TOLERANCE BRUNCH HELD AT AMERICAN PAVILION
Films with the late Peter O’Toole and Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges honored during Festival de Cannes with a United Nations supported organization having ECOSOC status.
New Generation In Action’s AFI World Peace Initiative hosted the “World Peace & Tolerance Awards Brunch during Festival de Cannes on May 15th, at the American Pavilion where global “Films of Purpose” where honored to participate in the year round program to promote, exhibit, and enlighten the general population by promoting the United Nation's “Leave No One Behind 2030.”
The United Nations supported organization with ECOSOC status utilizes Greta Joanne Entertainment a production, sales, buyer, and boutique distribution arm to assist in the global campaign to help films during the Festival de Cannes, and exhibitions of films privately and in the Marche du Film.
Each film will be utilized in a year round thematic program, in support of partnerships with other non government organizations, country support, not for profits, theaters, on line demand platforms, school/universities, museums, and creative exhibitions.
The following films were chosen to receive merit and participate in the year round thematic program.
“Our program was created in a needed time when minorities and representation for the Indigenous people, world peace, Middle East, Africa, and environmental filmmakers were not represented and distribution was not “popular,” or often times considered commercial. We have been around since 2012, working one film at a time. This year during Festival de Cannes, I am pleased to finally see cross promotions of minorities and the celebrities demanding a different voice be heard. This includes the role of women. Let our voices be heard.” Stated Founder and President of New Generation In Action’s AFI World Peace Initiative, and Greta Joanne Entertainment Princess Dame Angelique Monét

Bridges, alongside prominent scientists and authors, weaves evolution, emergence, entropy, dark ecology, and what some are calling the end of nature, into a story that helps us understand our place among the species of Earth’s household. The film upends our way of thinking and provides original insights into our subconscious motivations, the unintended consequences, what to do about our fossil slaves, and how our fundamental animal nature influences our future as Humankind.
