The 6th edition of the EFA Young Audience Award will take place in a record-breaking 31 European countries and 37 cities.
Your 12-14-year-old children are very welcome to attend this great event!
On the Young Audience Film Day the three nominated European films are screened to young audiences all over Europe. They watch the films and act as a jury, voting for the winner right after the screenings.
In a truly European vote, jury speakers from Lisbon on the Tejo to Wroclaw in Silesia, from Aalborg in Jütland to the Greek capital Athens transmit the national results live via video conference to Erfurt (Germany) where the winner is announced in an award ceremony streamed live on Sunday 7 May, 20.00 CET on the EFA Young Audience Award website: yaa.europeanfilmawards.eu.
This year's nominated films are GOODBYE BERLIN (Germany), MY LIFE AS A ZUCCHINI (Switzerland / France), and THE GIRL DOWN LOCH ÄNZI (Switzerland). On our website you can not only find the trailers of these films, but also interviews with the filmmakers themselves, clips of the jury speakers, and a lot of interesting information about the participating cities.
You are welcome to inscribe your 12-14-year-old children and their friends, ideally by Friday 28 April. Please find the participating cities and contacts in the attached list!
