This is your final chance to submit your features and shorts to Leeds International Film Festival 2015. Submissions are open until September 11th 2015.

There are £5000 cash prizes available across our short film competitions and LIFF is also a qualifying film festival for the Academy Awards and BAFTA.
The winning films in the Louis Le Prince International Short Film Competition and World Animation Award are eligible for the Academy’s Short Film Awards. The festival’s British and Yorkshire short film competitions are BAFTA qualifying.

- Dead Short Competition (British horror shorts under 10 mins)

- Arctic Minutes- £500 Prize (Short films one minute or under themed around the Arctic)

The Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF) is the largest film festival in England outside London. Founded in 1987, it is held in November at various venues throughout Leeds. In 2014, the festival welcomed over 40,000 visitors and showed over 300 films from around the world, shorts and features, commercial and independent.
