Felix and Meira is explosive yet liberating! Set in Montreal, Canada; Brooklyn, New York and Venice, Italy; the film journeys into the life of Shulem (Luzer Twersky) and Malka (Hadas Yaron), an ordinary Orthodox Jewish couple in a failing marriage within the Orthodox community. Félix (Martin Dubreuil), a man in search of spirituality whose elderly father passed away from Alzheimer’s encounters Malka at Tatys Kosher Pizza. Desperate for answers and making several unsuccessful attempts in getting them from Malka during her visits at Tatys Kosher Pizza, she decides to introduce herself to Felix as Meira and begins a secretive courtship that evolves into a sweet taboo!
Despite Shulem’s failing marriage, his faith does not waiver. As a man of God, he confronts his dark night of the soul in humility, ultimately freeing his wife’s inner most being from death to life!
