Submissions for the 34th Cambridge Film Festival opened on February 1st and the closing date will be 15th May 2014.
Long before Red Road or Fish Tank, acclaimed British director, Andrea Arnold wowed our Festival's audience in 2004 with her short film, WASP. In 1996, Christopher Nolan's student short film was accepted into the Festival and Shane Meadows, likewise, had one of his plethora of shorts accepted into the festival before he went on to great acclaim in the world of feature film.
Each year we receive hundreds of submissions from all over the world. Our dedicated team of reviewers spend four months watching every single one of them. Their reviews are then passed on to our programmers who collaborate on the Festival's official film selection.
