The 36th Starz Denver Film Festival kicks off with the Opening Night Red Carpet Gala presentation of Labor Day, presented by KeyBank. Following the screening of the film, 14 year-old actor Gattlin Griffith will be presented with the Rising Star Award and author Joyce Maynard will be signing copies of her book Labor Day in the lobby of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.
