The closing ceremony of the 29th edition of the ICFF MANAKI BROTHERS was held in 4th of October (Saturday) at 19:30 p.m. in Army Hall –Skopje.
It starts with the receiving of the SPECIAL AWARD OF MOSFILM for the cinematography of THREE MONKEYS, to Mr. Gokhan Tiryaki. The award was given by the Macedonian director and member of the International Jury Mr. Stole Popov.
BRONZE CAMERA 300 to Yuri Klimenko for the cinematography of CAPTIVE. Mr. Ivan Fenyo, the youngest member of the International Jury gave the award to the young actor Vyacheslav Krikunov.
SILVER CAMERA 300 to Jolanta Dylewska for the cinematography of TULPAN. Although Miss Jolanta was our guest during the Festival’s edition, because of the work reasons, she couldn’t stay at the closing ceremony. The award was given to Mr. Antonio Mitrikeski, and he gave special thanks to the audience, the International Jury and to the Festival’s team.
GOLDEN CAMERA 300 for the cinematography of the film LUST, CAUTION to Mr. Rodrigo Prieto.
SPECIAL AWARD GOLDEN CAMERA 300 for outstanding contribution to the Russian cinematography to Mr. Karen Shakhnazarov (producer, director, script writer).
The award was given by Igor Ivanov. “Thank you, it is a great honour for me” – said Mr. Shakhnazarov.
At the end of the closing ceremony Mr. Tomi Salkovski – director of the Festival, expressed his thankfulness in front of the guests, the audience, the organizers of the festival, and gave his special thanks to the Family Manaki.
With full responsibility, he declared, that supports the new concept of the Festival and in the same time invited the whole audience for the next 30th anniversary of the International Cinematographers’ Film festival MANAKI BROTHERS.
