The Italian Film Market is the “pilot project” of the Drake International Film Festival, reserved for the exchange of movies and ideas between Italian and international producers and sellers.
The second edition will take place in Caserta from the 24 th through 28 th of June, 2008.
Two hundred buyers and sellers coming from thirty different countries met during the first edition at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Caserta underneath the largest glass dome in Europe.
Attendees were able to use office spaces, a buyer’s lounge, and a meeting point created just for the occasion. Eight modern rooms of the Congress Center were used for workshops, meetings, and debates between international movie advocates.
This year the festival intends to create the same atmosphere.
The Italian Film Market is an integral part of the Drake International Film Festival and it was born to give space to an emerging young crowd interested in the world of cinema.
