FRESH TV FROM AROUND THE WORLD
This special session, beginning this Tuesday March 30, 12-1pm, is set to become a regular item at MIPTV and MIPCOM. Hosted by Virginia Mouseler (pictured) - Managing Director of the WIT (World Information Tracking), an agency specialized in research and information on TV programmes worldwide - it’s sure to be an unmissable and informative event.
Virginia will be introducing the world’s most popular TV shows launched over the past few months. The presentation includes a look at the most successful, innovative and inspiring TV programmesfrom across the world. Covering creative trends on television in all programming genres - from formats, entertainment and game shows to new-styles documentaries or magazines, and newly-successful fiction series (drama series, sitcoms, telenovelas) - you’ll be given an insider’s look at them all. Based on the monthly “The Wit Fresh TV report”, which spots the new shows launched across more than 30 markets worldwide, it’s the ideal opportunity to keep on top of all that’s fresh and exciting in the world of television.
Founded in 1996, The Wit began life as a newsletter analysing new creative trends and ideas in the entertainment world in general. It then moved its focus to the television market and has now become the most extensive source of information on TV programmes developed and aired throughout the world. The WIT’s reports and on-line services are used by broadcasters, producers and distributors in Europe, the USA, Asia and South Africa to develop new products or acquire licenses.
