One of the most controversial movies of all time A Clockwork Orange was screened at the Salle de Soixantieme, with the presence of Malcolm McDowell and Christiane Kubrick . This screening was a remastered version of the film, as it is the 40th anniversary of the film.
Before the screening of the movie, Malcolm McDowell and Christiane Kubrick was briefly interviewed in the front of the theatre. They received a standing ovation from every single person in the room, as the movie is recognized by many as one of the best cinematic masterpiece of all time. When Christiane stated that she had done nothing to deserve receive such honor to be there and claimed that Stanley Kubrick should be there, McDowell stated that he (Stanley) was there.
Before they start showing the film, there was a short video of McDowell discussing his experience with the film.
