here is a group of films hidden to the audience. Films that big movie theatres and distributors reject. There is a group of young filmmakers, independents in their ideas and their concepts, not only in their financial sources.
There is a cinema more critic or experimental that represents the social sectors missing in the standard production. That is how movies class B are born: made under a very low budget, with a brief shooting (some in just a few days), with actors practically unknown (or stars in decadency) and with a duration that goes between 70 and 90 minutes.
This Festival will gather together all the films that are discriminated by the Festivals that only accept 35mm for its exhibition or filmmakers with a commercial profile that guarantees a full theatre in their screenings.
We bet for the cinema of the future, the new generation that is giving something to talk about in the foreign Festivals.
For the firs time, claiming for the youngest cinema, we celebrate the early days of the lowest budget cinema.
Now that the democratization of the seventh art is becoming something real and now that it is possible to make movies with little resources, this Festival will try to bring the audience closer to this new phenomenon, thanks to the collaboration of outstanding filmmakers that has already given their first steps in this battle.
