AnimWriterAndrew Garrett is an animation (and occasionally live-action) screenwriter. Tech-savvy but story-driven, he is a sublime contradiction of history buff and computer geek, tracking down his story anywhere it lives. His most successful story, Louisiana animal fable "Local Sugar", is loosely based on the famous folk song "Froggy Went A-Courtin'". It won "Best Screenplay - Animation" at the 2014 International Family Film Festival (IFFF), and has gathered up a crop of wins and places.
