Ces 24 films seront présentés en DVD dans le "Coffret DVD César 2018" que chacun des membres votants de l’Académie recevra personnellement à la fin du mois de décembre. Le premier tour de vote, qui se déroulera du 2 au 30 janvier 2018, désignera les 5 films nommés pour le César du Meilleur Film de Court Métrage. Ils seront révélés lors de la Conférence de Presse d'Annonce des Nominations qui aura lieu le mercredi 31 janvier 2018.
