 Le 9ème festival international du court métrage d’animation de Roanne, Ciné court animé, se déroulera du 19 au 25 mars 2018.

Le festival se déroule dans toute la ville et investit pour
l’occasion trois cinémas, la médiathèque, le théâtre, l’université,
le musée...
Ciné court animé se présente comme un espace de promotion
de nouveaux talents du cinéma d’animation en format
court. Le court métrage d’animation, part du 7ème art relativement
peu diffusée, propose une créativité sans limite. La
France excelle dans ce domaine en plein boom.
Peu de festivals dédient entièrement leur programmation
au court métrage d’animation au niveau national et
européen en proposant un tel panorama actuel. La manifestation
se situe comme un événement majeur dédié au
cinéma d’animation en France et propose une découverte
complète du court métrage d’animation au niveau mondial.
Cette année encore, de nombreux réalisateurs et réalisatrices
seront à Roanne pour présenter leurs créations.
Des grands noms de l’animation tels que Alain Gagnol (nominé
aux César et Oscars avec Une vie de chat), l’allemand
Jakob Schuh, réalisateur du Gruffalo ou encore d’Un conte
peut en cacher un autre, en lice pour les Oscars 2018...
La 8ème édition a encore augmenté sa fréquentation en
réunissant plus de 12 400 personnes (public provenant de
24 départements). Plus de 4 000 scolaires ont pu participer.
La manifestation permet de découvrir des films professionnels
d’importants studios d’animation, de réalisateurs
indépendants, d’écoles du monde entier mais aussi des
productions de pays émergents (Brésil, Uruguay, Argentine,
Chine, Thaïlande, Inde, Iran, Colombie, Afrique du Sud…).
Tous les types de thématiques, techniques (stopmotion,
peinture sur verre, 3D, sable, 2D, dessin sur papier,
rotoscopie…) et genres cinématographiques sont au
programme.
