Born in 1967. Graduated at the Academy of Visual Arts, Cluj; Post graduate studies at École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Marseille; Kunsthochschule, Berlin; HISK, Antwerp. Doctorate in Fine Arts at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Budapest in 2009. EMARE-residency scholarship at HTBA (GB) in 1997. Resident at the Bethanien Künstlerhaus Berlin in 1999. DAAD scholarship in Berlin in 1999/2000. Winner of the Projections on Lake Competition, Pasadena, USA in 2008. His last solo exhibitions include: Empire in Different Colours, Ludwig Museum, Budapest 2004, Air Parade and Fire Works, Pixel Gallery, Budapest 2010. Lives and works in Budapest.

Periflare is an invocation of cases of self immolation throughout the world mainly in the past two years: 2011 and 2012. The video is an attempt to relate to this extreme human gesture.
