KRM Film

Attended Film & Television school at the Istanbul Academy from 1996-98. Between 1999-2003, was part of many street performances with the Istanbul underground experimental music group Sad Eyed Lemur's and created many visual installation works for them. During this time, he also directed filming of a number of TV programs, commercials, concert performances and video clips.

His first feature film 'The Movie', which he wrote and directed himself, is a reflection of Kerem Topuz's search for experimental expression in film. The scenario contained no dialogue, and depended solely on the improvisation of its actors.

The film, which is based loosely on a real story, Blurs the line between fact and fiction, and questions the portrayal of reality in films.
