Sanjib Dey

Sanjib Dey was born in Assam, India. He completed his graduation in Arts from the University of Delhi. He moved to Mumbai & joined as an assistant director in television, commercials & films. He had the opportunity to assist famous Indian filmmaker Govind Nihalani for a music video. Sanjib later directed couple of chat shows & game shows for Indian television. He also has written & co-directed a documentary titled THE LAND OF NATURE’S TREASURE. In 2009, he produced a short film titled THE 100 WATT BULB; the film won the John Abraham National Award & Indian Documentary Producer’s Association Award for best short film. In 2010, he worked as a first assistant to Australian director Sean Lynch for the famous Afghan TV series Eagle Four which was filmed in Afghanistan, comprising an international crew. A REASONABLE COMPROMISE is his debut film as a director.
