Festival presentation: 

Valsusa Filmfest it’s a festival of films evoking historical recollections and environmental
protection open to exchange and debate on the independent production.
Main themes are history, memorial heritage and environmental issues. Through
different approaches the Valsusa Filmfest aims to educate as many people as
possible on our past and present times and relies on the new generation as well
as the use of images and technology to show changes, improvements and
difficulties in nowadays cultural field.
The XV Filmfest edition will take place from april 25th to may 1 2011 in some places of
Valle di Susa, near Torino in the north of Italy.

VALSUSA FILMFEST ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES TO THE XV FILM COMPETITION

The XV Valsusa Filmfest notice of competition it’s online.
In www.valsusafilmfest.it there are the contest, the regulation and the entry form.
The deadline is february 28th, 2011.
Among the sections of contest, one is reserved to musical videoclips.
In the Documentary Section, the productions inspired on the theme of “Stop to land consumption” will also compete for one more contest.

Through different approaches the Valsusa Filmfest aims to educate as many people as possible on our past and present times and relies on the new generation as well as the use of images and technology to show changes, improvements and difficulties in nowadays cultural field.
The XV Filmfest edition will take place from april 25th to may 1st 2011 in some places of Valle di Susa, near Torino in the north of Italy.

The main theme of the XV edition is “Mountain of the future: Alps creativity, ideas, values and culture”: mountain is not simply regarded as a playground for losers or city inhabitants but takes revenge through its own values and renovated offer. Things have moved forward and Alps are a set for different activities and events, taken on by local workers and based on concrete actions for cultural and environmental development. Mountains are not meant to be just a territory of imaginary Christmas villages.

The alps, Short films, Schools, Documentaries on historical memory, Documentaries and musical videoclips.
