Thurrock International Film Festival

The Thurrock International Film Festival is the brainchild of Thurrock residents Natalie and Benjamin who, after returning from University with degrees in Film Studies, decided to create a festival in their area. The Festival will run from Sunday 24th - Saturday 30th June 2012 and film entries can be submitted from 1st January - 1st May 2012. The full week’s itinerary will be released in early 2012 and includes screenings, workshops and talks, and will close with an amazing awards ceremony where the winning films in each category (Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Music Video, Experimental, Under 16, International, Foreign Language and Student) plus awards for Best Performance, Best Editing, Best Direction, Best in Festival (one of the winners of the categories) and Audience Choice will be announced. Films will be assessed by our panel of judges. For more submission details please see the submission rules.
