The IFFF will launch the 19th annual event on November 7-9, 2014 at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, California.

The IFFF celebrates cultural diversity, creativity, tolerance and global unity in its' exhibition of excellent family films and screenplays.  We showcase films and screenplays that are rich in storytelling, strong on character development that engage the mind and tug at the heart - if we achieve this at least in part, we are accomplishing our mission.

Newly launched at the 2011 festival was the International Family Film Institute (IFFI), which is IFFF's educational and outreach division dedicated to youth.  The IFFI program is called 'Movies on the Move', where winning short films are available to screen at libraries and schools.

On the Opening Day, the IFFF has a Press Conference for US and international media, which gives the Official Selection filmmakers a chance to promote their films and screenplays in person and with press kits. In the 2011 event, we had feature, short and student films from over 35 countries, plus films made by kids ages 8-17 in the YouthFest! competition.  This year we have added the 'Comic Book' competition for YouthFest! entries.

The IFFF Panel Discussion subjects ranged from Distribution, Screenwriting, International Co-Production, and Film Financing. On Sunday morning, the popular Producers Brunch is held in the Raleigh Studios Cantina, where lots of networking takes place.

The IFFF Awards Ceremony honors the IFFF "Friz" Award for Animation, The Film Excellence Award, the Best films in all categories, the Pearl Award, and the Top Applause Award.  The Screenwriters Showcase is one of the highlights of the festival, where a scene from the 2 Screenplay Finalists in each category are performed for the general audience, and then the Screenplay Awards Ceremony follows.
