The Bandit Zine

We are The Bandit: a submission-based, social justice-focused zine located in the mitten, Grand Rapids, MI.

Founded in 2009 by two flaming radicals, the core group has grown to include a group of diverse and fabulous creatives and activists within our community. Although each of us comes from different backgrounds and identifies differently, we all share a passion to create and publish this (FREE) quarterly zine that covers a variety of social justice topics.

Our zine strives to be anti-oppressive and inclusive as possible. We are committed to fighting: sizeism, ableism, cissexism & transphobia, sexism, heteronormativity & homophobia/biphobia, classism, racism, and so forth.

We’re always looking for contributors, so if you want to be part of The Bandit, email us or follow us on Facebook: THE BANDIT ZINE.

We aren’t afraid to speak our minds, and we’ve got a lot to say. Feel free to email us to contribute, argue with us or, you know, just tell us how awesome we are.
