Swedenborg SocietySWEDENBORG SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 2013 Deadline for Submissions: 21 October 2013 | Festival Screenings: 29 November 2013 | Swedenborg Hall, 20-21 Bloomsbury Way, London WC1A 2TH, UK Featuring films of 30 mins or less, the heart of the Swedenborg Short Film Festival is to showcase the latest new and established talent. Submissions are invited on a variety of themes and genres, with priority given to themes encountered in the work of scientist, philosopher, radical theologian and mystic Emanuel Swedenborg (1688 – 1772). Selected submissions for 2013 will be screened to a public audience at Swedenborg Hall, ‘one of London’s most atmospheric venues’ (The Guardian), on Friday 29 November. At the closing of the festival an award will be given for Best Film, chosen by the judges (TBA). Previous winners for Best Film include OLIVER PIETSCH for From Here to Eternity (2012); EZRA WUBE for Hisab (2011) and DAVE GRIFFITHS for Seer’s Catalogue (2010). If you would like to submit a film for consideration, please visit www.swedenborg.org.uk, download and complete the submission form and send this with a DVD (video) copy of your film to: Swedenborg Short Film Festival, Swedenborg House, 20-21 Bloomsbury Way, London WC1A 2TH Alternatively, please send a web link to your film via email to nora@swedenborg.org.uk, with the submission form attached.
