DotFest - International Online Short Film Festival
DotFest is a competition among filmmakers in which best short films will be selected for screening during the festival via the internetand awarded by an expert jury and the audience. DotFest accepts any short film up to 10 minutes made after January 2007 which falls under any of the categories: Fiction, Animation, Music video and Experimental films. Members of the International Jury will choose the best film in each category. The winners will receive each a cash prize of 2,000 Euros. The Audience Award winner will be decided by the audience through online voting. DotFest Awards will be announced in April 18th 2010. As the festival can’t live it’s life without the audience,we’ve decided to get everyone in front of the screen. But you don’t need to walkthrough the foggy London, windy Reykjavik, boiling Sevilla or crowded Beijingto get yourself to the cinema. All you need — is to be online. No more dealingwith babysitters or parking woes or pesky costs of admission or annoying,popcorn-chomping, chatty theatre patrons. It’s your first row seat where you can watch and vote with all the comfort needed. Yes, you’ll vote to decide thefate of the films and it’s directors! Come and check it or take part!
