Charles Causley Literary FestivalIn the picturesque Cornish town of Launceston, nestling in the shadow of Bodmin Moor, yet just twenty minutes from world-famous surf beaches, the Charles Causley Literary Festival celebrates all that is interesting and creative. New this year, a short film festival offering film-makers the opportunity to screen their movies in a 300 seat cinema in the town's beautiful Victorian town hall. Just off the A30, and within an hour of the region's largest cities, Launceston is one of North Cornwall's prettiest towns. And you know, to paraphrase a line from one of my favourite films, June is a mighty fine month to be showing your films off. Charles Causley Short Film Festival |
