Dover Kosashvili - Director
Born in Soviet Georgia in 1966, Dover Koshashvili immigrated to Israel with his family in 1972. He has directed two feature films and a short. His short, Im Hukim (By the Laws), first earned him acclaim at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival, where it was considered for the Cinefoundation award.

Well today is the day - its Xmas Eve. This is the day I like best, much more than I do Xmas day to be honest, as I love the build up - shops are manic and plus this is the day that I drive to my parents from Aberystwyth to Worcestershire which is lovely because no cars are on the road (since everyone rushed off on Thursday). It's Christmas in Toronto, 1978. Eight-year-old Meehee Park longs for two things: to make her mother happy and to get a Cindy doll from Santa. But she soon realizes that Santa isn't real and her parents are struggling to make ends meet.
