Min Mamma alska lesbiska or Mums lesbian lover ( MLL ) is an alternate love story between two women MAGDA played by SABRINA CHIMEKA and KATARINA played by SELMA GLASELL whose relationship started when they were at boarding school. Unfortunately for the pair MAGDA was expelled for smoking before their relationship could be fully developed and its not until years later at a chance meeting between the two in Sweden. MAGDA who is now a born again Christian Film making lecturer is invited on a break to Sweden by a church friend Michelle played by KETORAH WILLIAMS that it is realised.
Filmed on location in England the film is in both English and in Swedish.
The Film challenges discrimination and the need for rights to be carried out , from Copyright rights , black civil rights , gender rights and lastly gay rights. It presents the truth and reality of racism even amongst the wealth y and well to do where MAGDA the black lead is not accepted by her peers at the boarding school despite the financial clout being reached by MAGDAs parents. This reality is further displayed even in the gay and lesbian relationship where KATARINA – MAGDAs love interest decides that it is best not to further develop the relations hip .
