Iranian Film Festival - San Francisco IFF

The 4th Annual Iranian Film Festival - San Francisco, an annual cultural event showcasing the independent feature and short films made by or about the Iranians from around the world, will present an outstanding program this year with a never seen before discovery of a documentary produced by British broadcaster Sir David Frost called Crossroads of Civilization which was made in 1976 but never seen before, and the IFF will have its world premiere for the first time. The film tells the history of Persia on a Hollywood scale with Ahmad Pezhman, the great Iranian composer who will be in attendance to share his memories of conducting the music for the film.

From Jafar Panahi, celebrated Iranian and international filmmaker, The Accordion will be shown that tells the story of a couple of young kids on the streets of Tehran.
