Twin Rivers Media FestivalAll categories accepted including Screenwriting audio art, sound track, and multi-media, as well as drama, shorts, experimental, animation, documentary, feature films, student films. Over 24 years of continuous operation. Festival is located in beautiful downtown Asheville, NC. This year we will be screening at the Flood Fine Art Center on June 16 and June 17, 2018. The Flood Fine Art Center is home to the The Black Mountain Literary Press, The Halcyone Literary Journal, and the Courtyard Gallery. It is located at 2160 Hwy 70 near Swannanoa, NC just east of Asheville, NC. Deadline for entries is May 1st 2018 Late Deadline is May 12th 2018 with additional fee. The Courtyard Gallery is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Twin Rivers Media Festival, which moved to Asheville, North Carolina six years ago. This year, films will be shown at venues down in the fast-growing River Arts District, with the main venue at the Phil Mechanic Studios. Submission deadline is April 15th (postmarked), but you have until April 29th (received) with late fee, and Official Selections and past favorites will be shown the weekend of May 27-29. Our festival features special categories like "Made on Mac", "Outdoor/Environmental" theme and "Western North Carolina Achievement", as well as Animation, Short Drama, Feature Film, Experimental, Documentary, Audio, Scriptwriting and Commercial categories. International films are accepted.
