Twin Rivers Media Festival


All categories accepted including Screenwriting audio art, sound track,  and multi-media, as well as drama, shorts, experimental, animation, documentary, feature films, student films. Over 24 years of continuous operation. Festival is located in beautiful downtown Asheville, NC. This year we will be screening at the Flood Fine Art Center on June 16 and June 17, 2018. The Flood Fine Art Center is home to the The Black Mountain Literary Press, The Halcyone Literary Journal, and the Courtyard Gallery. It is located at 2160 Hwy 70 near Swannanoa, NC just east of Asheville, NC. 

Deadline for entries is May 1st 2018  Late Deadline is May 12th 2018 with additional fee.

Twin Rivers looking for Outdoor Theme films, scripts & journalistic writing

Special recognition will be given to films, scripts and written articles with outdoor themes, in any category, whether it creates awareness about an environmental plight or gives us a glimpse into the beauty or harshness, or what-have-you, of the natural world. First deadline is coming up so get you entries in the mail by this Friday!

Twin Rivers Media Festival is presented by Courtyard Gallery in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Official Selections and past favorites will be shown at Courtyard
Gallery at the Phil Mechanic Studios, in the River Arts District, and other Asheville, NC venues May
27- 29, 2011.

Categories include Animation, Short Drama, Experimental, Feature, Documentary, Outdoor, Commercial, Audio and Scriptwriting.  Scriptwriting & Outdoor Writing results will be announced in September.
Films must be submitted on DVD and have been completed in the last 3 years.

Entry Deadline (postmark): Friday, April 15, 2011
Extended deadline (arrival): Friday, April 29th (+$10)
Late deadline (arrival): Friday, May 13 (+$20)
