The 9th edition of Taiwan International Children’s Film Festival (TICFF) is scheduled for April 2020 in Taipei. We are calling for entries for the international competition section with a cash prize of US$25,000 in total for extraordinary productions of dramas, animations and TV/Web programs.

Submissions to competition will also be considered as candidates for our official selection. As the oldest and biggest children’s film festival in Taiwan, TICFF has established a reputation in film selection. Many films screened in TICFF later got invited by other children’s festivals in Taiwan, or approached by Taiwanese distributors and educators. So this could be a great opportunity for your films to get exposure in Taiwan!

We also welcome submissions to our non-competitive sections, including documentaries and “Kids as Directors” productions. “Kids as Directors Workshop” is a project for young filmmakers in Taiwan to take the lead and create their own works with assistance from professionals. Their works will be screened during the festival along with productions made by international young filmmakers.
