Phenom Film Fest 2012

Phenom Film Fest is proud to announce the addition of LAS PALMAS to our scheduled lineup of films. LAS PALMAS is a delightfully wonderful and hilarious short about a middle-aged lady on a holiday in the sun who tries to make new friends and have a good time. The role is played by a one year old girl, the rest of the cast are marionette puppets.

Released through the Swedish Film Institute, Swedish director Johannes Nyholm's film has played at over 50 festivals worldwide, including Cannes and Sundance, and has won several awards. The LAS PALMAS trailer has garnered over 14.5 million hits on YouTube.

"Johannes was gracious enough to allow us the use of the Las Palmas trailer in the promotion of the festival. We are more than ecstatic to have it up on our homepage, as we felt it more than sets the fun vibe and tone of the festival", said festival director Tony Fox.
