He is also an acting and dialogue coach. @SirajHSyed ![]() RIFF 7, 05: Pride of Rajasthan Award to go to producer Om ChhanganiRIFF 7, 05: Pride of Rajasthan Award to go to producer Om Chhangani The 7th edition of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), accredited by the Federation of Film Societies of India (FFSI-North Region) will be organised by the RIFF Film Club, in a Hybrid Format, from 20 to 24th March 2021 in Jaipur and Jodhpur, Rajasthan - India. This year, the theme for the RIFF 2021 is "Music in Cinema". RIFF 2021 will also celebrate the Pre Foundation Day of Rajasthan. The Founder, Director and CEO of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), Somendra Harsh, said that the Pride of Rajasthan Award at the 7th edition of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) this year will be given to the Film Producer of Jodhpur, Om Chhangani. The Pride of Rajasthan Award, like every year, is given in RIFF to such a personality of the film world whose roots are in Rajasthan, and has achieved fame in National & International Cinema. The Pride of Rajasthan Award was initiated in 2015, where the film actor Prashantt Guptha was awarded the same. In 2016, it was given to Manish Mundra, founder (Drishyam Films). In 2017, Priti Rathi Gupta, Founder (Ishka Films) was the awardee. In 2018, RIFF gave it to film director, Sawan Kumar Tak. In 2019, actor Ashish Sharma bagged it, and in 2020 film producer Gulab Singh Tanwar was honoured with this award. Om Chhangani is the producer of the film "Mr. Kabaadi", directed by Seema Kapoor, and the Marathi film "Prawaas", starring artistes like Padmini Kolhapure and Ashok Saraf. Prawaas was also selected in the 51st International Film Festival of India’s (IFFI) Indian Panorama, and was chosen for a Red Carpet honour, before the screening of the film, in the festival, held in Goa. Apart from this, Om Chhangani is also the producer of the short film FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) directed by Shashank Udapurkar. Jodhpur-based Om Chhangani, apart from a Film Producer is a businessman as well, being the founder of Om Air, a leading Hydrogen Gas supplier. Entries are invited for Short, Documentary, Animation, Feature, Regional, Rajasthani, and Music Albums for RIFF 2021. Films can be submitted at www.riffjaipur.org, and also through FilmFreeWay.
